Broadwas PTFA is a charitable organisation, run by parents, to support the school in enriching our children’s learning and experiences. School money only extends to buying the school's essentials; so being a part of the PTFA gives us a unique opportunity to support them through fundraising.

Film Night
The kids all had a great time at the film night on the 28th. The popcorn and hotdogs disappeared in a flash... no chance of leftovers with that lot! And we raised an amazing £160. A big thank you to Mrs Parkes for keeping the school open for us and for Mr Parkes and his team helping us with tidying up. We will be gifting this money to Bumblebees to buy some new and exciting art and craft supplies for the kids to enjoy.
Pyjama Day
It was so much fun to see everyone coming in in their pyjamas, onesies and dressing gowns last month. I just hope the kids weren't falling asleep in their lessons! The £102 pounds that we raised will help us to get some new wobble balance boards for use across the school, both in class and during play times.
Icecreams
Hasn't the beautiful weather over the last few weeks been good? On Monday 31st March, we wanted to celebrate the first really warm day by offering a free ice pop to every member of the school community. And on Friday 4th, we sold cones and ice pops under the shelter after school, raising £26. Watch out for more ice cream sales... we will try and do them up to twice a week while the warm weather lasts. Ice pops are 50p or 3 for £1 and cones are £1 each.
