Welcome to our School Council 2025-26
I am pleased to share with you our School Councillors. Our children were amazing and all put forward a reason as to why they would like to be a Councillor this year.
Blow are the notes form our first meeting. I hope you enjoy reading them and seeing how our children play a vital role in the development of our school.

Welcome to our School Council!
We are delighted to welcome you to our School Council page. Here at Broadwas CE Primary School we enjoy working together as a community and sharing our ideas in order to develop our school. The School Council is at the heart of our school community and our pupils ideas and thoughts play a central part in the development of our school.
The School Council is comprised of two children per year group. The children are voted into their positions at the start of the school year and stay in post for the remainder of that year. We have meetings at least once a half term. Each meeting starts with a game before we discuss how the term is progressing and then debate a key part of the schools development (whilst also enjoying a biscuit or two). We are joined either in person, or via video conferencing, by a member of our Governing Body.
