We are delighted to announce the amalgamation of Broadwas CE Primary School and Bumblebees Pre-School. Bumblebees will continue to provide before and after school care, and pre-school provision as one organisation.

Nestled in the picturesque Teme Valley, Bumblebees is located on the grounds of Broadwas CE Primary School, right next to the village park on the A44 Worcester to Bromyard Road. Our facility, known as 'The Beehive', is specially designed for young learners and features enclosed gardens and a well-lit parking area.

Bumblebees is a purpose-designed unit with its own kitchen, toilets, and outdoor facilities, providing a secure, caring, and stimulating environment where children are treated as individuals and feel respected, valued, and confident.

We are dedicated to offering a top-notch childcare service for you and your child in a variety of ways.

Our staff bring a wealth of passion to their roles, which is evident in the experiences we provide. Not only do we cover the early years foundation stage curriculum, but we also offer additional learning opportunities to help children develop new skills and interests.

Every Child is Unique

Every child who enters our doors is special and deserves to be celebrated. At our Pre-School, we believe in providing personalised support for each child as they embark on their unique learning journey. With the guidance of their keyworker and our dedicated team of staff, every child receives individualised attention and care.

We take the time to understand each child's needs and interests, setting goals and targets specifically tailored to them. By taking this personalised approach, we ensure that no child is left behind, regardless of their abilities or challenges. Our children have an exciting journey of growth and discovery, where every child is valued and supported every step of the way.

A love of animals

We are firm believers in the importance of outings and trips in a child's development. Here at the Pre-School, we make it a priority to visit local attractions that align with our topics and interests. We have a strong focus on fostering a love for animals and nature, which is why we frequently have a variety of animal visits throughout the year. In fact, we even have our very own class pet!

One of our absolute favorite topics to explore is spring. The children are always thrilled to witness the incredible transformations from frogspawn to frogs and caterpillars to butterflies! We truly believe that for many children, observing these developments and meeting new creatures helps solidify their learning in a fun and engaging way. Join us on our exciting adventures as we continue to inspire and educate our young learners!

Are you a parent or caregiver of a baby or toddler? Are you
looking to connect with other families with young children?
Look no further! Join us at our exciting new stay and play
sessions at Bumblebees. Your little ones can participate in fun
and interactive activities, socialize with other kids, and enjoy a
safe and supportive environment. All we request is a £2
donation in exchange for a fantastic time! Come and join the
fun!

Take a peek at ... Pre-School

Pre-school for children aged 2 – 5 years. 

Our friendly staff are experienced at helping new children to settle in, but parents are very welcome to stay during a child’s first session if they wish.

£5.00 per hour

We offer full day care, 5 days a week.

We offer, for those eligible, 30 free funded hours for 3 & 4 year olds, and 15 free funded hours for eligible 2 year olds.

Out of School hours are open to all ages of children from 2 years up to 11 years.

Early Bees
Monday – Friday 7:30am – 9:00am
Charges are £3.50 for each half hour, to include breakfast.

Buzz Club
Monday – Thursday 3:30pm – 5:30pm

Charges for Buzz Club are £3.50 per half hour. Buzz Club fees include high tea.

Bumblebees staff collect pre-booked in children for Buzz Club from Broadwas School at 3:15pm.
