Bumblebees Pre-School

We are delighted to announce the amalgamation of Broadwas CE Primary School and Bumblebees Pre-School. Bumblebees will continue to provide before and after school care, and pre-school provision as one organisation.

Welcome

Bumblebees aim to provide child-care of the highest quality, in a friendly, safe and stimulating environment.

Each child is treated as an individual and valued within the group, providing them the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

Situated amidst the beautiful rolling countryside of the Teme Valley, Bumblebees is an independent setting, within the grounds of Broadwas CE Primary School, adjacent to the village park, on the A44 Worcester to Bromyard Road. We are housed in our own purpose designed unit, known as ‘The Beehive’ and have enclosed gardens and a safe well-lit car park.

About us

The Beehive is an independent purpose designed unit with it’s own kitchen, toilets and outdoor facilities, providing a secure, caring and stimulating environment where children are treated as individuals and feel respected, valued and confident.

We are committed to providing a high quality childcare service for you and your child in many ways.

We look forward to welcoming you and your child by coming to visit us and seeing our facilities for yourself.

Parent Review

“We are delighted with Bumblebees”

The staff are warm and welcoming with the children. We are kept informed with activities through Tapestry regularly and in depth. We really enjoy using this as a communication about our sons progress. We like that his day is structured with organised play activities but also free play and independence is encouraged. We think that this freedom in a safe environment has helped his confidence develop...and his speech! We really like the freedom of being able to explore outside safely. We are very happy.

Activities

What makes Bumblebees unique?

Why did OFSTED say “Children are articulate and confident during their play and interact positively with their peers and visitors”?

Here’s why…

Welly Wednesdays

We often join the Reception class on a Wednesday, come rain or shine, and head out to the Forest School area of Broadwas Primary School to pond dip, make dens, learn about nature, build and construct, balance and climb.

A love of animals

We believe that outings and trips are an important part of a child’s development. The Pre-School endeavour to visit local attractions whenever they fit in with our topics and interests, and we always encourage love of animals and nature.

Organised play

Our aim is to prepare your child for their future; and to ensure they have fun along the way. Maths, science, reading and writing, design, technology and physical development are all taught through a playful and fun way.

To discover more about your child's fun activities at Bumblebees log into Tapestry.
