PTFA Easter Update

The PTFA have organised three events this term; the ever-popular Break The Rules Day which saw some great outfits being worn, the Movie Night which had a great attendance and last Friday saw the inaugural School Disco where everyone had a great time. A special thank you goes to Mrs Davison who donated an enormous bag of sweets to the disco, which the children thoroughly enjoyed and to the Village Hall Committee who allowed us to use the hall at no cost.

All three events combined raised almost £300.00.

The PTFA bank account is quite healthy at the moment with the addition of these extra funds and Mr Dennis is already working on a plan on how to spend some of it on an exciting project, which I’m sure he will update you on once the time is right!

We are also acutely aware that in the current climate, general expenditure and the cost of living is increasing. To provide a little bit of help, the PTFA will shortly be launching a new website where good quality, preloved school uniform can be purchased for extremely reasonable prices. Some of the items that have been donated are brand new and some have barely been worn! All profits from this venture will again go towards the school

Since the PTFA reformed some 18 months ago, our small group has raised over £2,000 and we were able to give the school £1000.00 to equip the new school library and we will continue to try to raise as much money as we can to support our school.

We are always looking for additional help with our events and details of our meetings, (which usually take place at The Royal Oak) are notified on the school newsletter. Please come along if you can – everyone is welcome.

Thank You
