Welcome to Week 2 of the second half of the Summer Term. This week our topic focus will be David Attenborough and Climate Change. Below you will find English and Maths as well as Topic and PE ideas for the week. All of the spellings lists are now completed so if you wish to practise any spellings you find particularly challenging, please feel free to go over all past spelling patterns and rules.
Remember that you DO NOT have to complete all of the tasks below. Work at a pace that suits your child, take regular breaks and enjoy the learning!
Thank you for sharing all of your fantastic work so far. Please keep sending in your photos in – we love seeing them! Our Gallery is looking wonderful and it has been a joy to see your achievements!

There are 2 activities for English today. The FIRST is a reading comprehension based on the life of the famous author and television star, David Walliams. You will see 3 separate reading activities with either 1,2 or 3 stars at the bottom of the pages. Choose the appropriate level for your child. The reading comprehension with 3 stars is the most challenging. Your child only needs to read and answer questions on one of the levels. The SECOND English activity is practising accurate use of semi-colons to separate clauses. Again, similar to the reading comprehension, there are either 1,2 or 3 stars at the bottom of each page for you to decide which level is appropriate for your child. You do NOT have to do all three.Today's work is a Long Maths and a Short English
