Below you will find English and Maths as well as Topic, PE and Wellbeing ideas for the week. Remember that you do not have to complete all of the tasks below. Work at a pace that suits your child, take regular breaks and enjoy the learning!

Good morning! Today's focus is Maths and we are trying something new with BBC Bitesize. Year 2 are learning how part-whole models can be used to understand fact families. Follow the instructions then select either Activity 1 or 2 to complete. Activity 2 is more challenging! In English, we are also trying something new! Read or listen to 'the Elves and the Shoe Maker' on page 4 of the booklet below. Then share the story using page 6 to help you. There is also a 15 minute Online Safety Activity for you to complete.
Good morning! Today's focus is English. Look at the story of the 'Elves and the Shoe Maker' again. Then answer the questions on page 7. In Maths, solve the game ‘The Mystery of the Naughty Gnome’. Then play Times Tables Rock Stars. How many levels can you complete in the Garage?

After watching the video, select one of the three activities to complete. Instead of English today, complete the Wellbeing Activity on your best qualities.
Good morning! Today's focus is English. Play Jas's Word Game on page 9 and 10. Then design elve's clothing on page 11. In Maths, test your problem-solving skills. Each problem gets a bit more difficult, so see how many you and your family can do together!
