I have a long association with Broadwas Primary School covering the past 28 years. My 3 children came to the school and my late wife, Denise, was involved in BumbleBees Preschool for the best part of 25 years. I served on the PTA before becoming Parent Governor in 1992 going on to be a Governor and Chair of Governors for a period. I recently re-joined the Governing Body.
I am very proud to be associated with Broadwas Primary School.
My professional work in IT and Programme & Change Management has taken me round the country and enabled me to work in the public, private and HE sectors as well as being a freelance contractor.
I see my role as a School Governor to be a combination of challenge and support to the leadership team of the school with the aim of driving up standards. Being a School Governor gives us the opportunity to have an impact on the education and positively influence children’s lives at Broadwas Primary.
